IPv6

Effective May 25, 2005

The Pacific Northwest Gigapop is now enabled for native IPv6 traffic. IPv6 traffic will be supported for all our layer 3 services. If your organization is interested in taking advantage of this capability, please proceed as follows:

  1. Verify with your routing vendor that your router will support v6.
  2. Contact noc@pnw-gigapop.net with "pnwgp ipv6" on the subject line and state that you wish to receive ipv6 address space and to begin using PNWGP for v6 connectivity.
  3. The NOC will send you an IPv6 Address Space request form. Please complete and return the form as instructed.
  4. Upon receipt of a completed v6 address form, an engineer will contact you to assign address space and to establish and verify v6 service.

Questions about PNWGP IPv6 capabilities should be directed to noc@pnw-gigapop.net.
